A simple way to start a real estate blog and send your email newsletter
When I speak to Agent Monday members, two frequently asked questions are:
How do I create my own website/blog?
And...
What tool do I use for sending an email newsletter?
What if you could do both in the same place?
Let me introduce you to Substack:
If I was starting in real estate again, I would use Substack to build my email newsletter and real estate blog. Substack gives you a place to post Agent Monday articles, and every time you post an article (or any other content you like), you can automatically send it out to your database.
You can easily add a 'subscribe' link to your email signature, too.
The layout is simple, clean, modern and easy to read. It's not super customisable but that's largely the point. We are all about keeping things simple!
You can also import your existing database from tools like Mailchimp.
And best of all, it's free!
How could this be free?
Substack makes its money by charging a percentage of any subscription payments charged to email subscribers. Many journalists and creators use it to publish paid newsletters. As long as you don't charge contacts to read your newsletter, you can use Substack for free.
Please note, we are not affiliated with Substack, and we don't make any income by recommending it, I just think it's a cool system worth checking out.
