I often get asked about using an ideal day or ideal week to enhance productivity.

What is an ideal day exactly?

It's the concept of structuring your standard real estate workday, to ensure you fit in all the important tasks which might otherwise fall by the wayside (like prospecting).

Often in life, tasks grow to fill the time we have available for them. Without structure, you could conceivably spend 3 hours titivating your Facebook profile, or 2 hours chatting to colleagues in the office, simply because you have no plan. No other tasks 'booked in' to move on to.

Many salespeople get to the end of each day and feel like they've been busy, but not necessarily that productive. At first, it can seem like the antidote to this problem would be to add more structure to our daily lives. But those of you who have been in this game for a while know that structure and real estate don't always mix that well.
